DEAR compañero,
On the occasion of your election as President of the People’s Republic of
China, I extend to you warmest congratulations in the name of the Cuban people
and government. We are convinced that, under your leadership, this sister
country will achieve new successes in the building of socialism.
I have been able to appreciate the importance you give to the development
of fraternal relations between China and Cuba. I take advantage of this
occasion to confirm our will to continue working conjointly to strengthen and
expand them even more.
I reiterate my highest regards and fraternal esteem for your person.
