Hello and Good day, today i encountered an issue when connecting my IOIO to my laptop (WIN8-32bit). I have managed to detect my IOIO in device mode. Switch set to "A" When trying to run [ java -jar <HelloIOIOSwing.jar> ] the port to which my IOIO is connected (COM17) cannot be opened and the app stops on "waiting for underlying connection" or sometimes the "waiting for handshake"
<https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-ooihfUCZbso/UsUHLztzGjI/AAAAAAAAABA/p23hrvU11c4/s1600/ioio3.png> then i tried re-installing the driver, it showed me this (please see image) which led me to these conclusions: -- My java version is not compatible with the one in the board -- There is a problem with my com port and that the communication cannot be established because of the closed com port -- The firmware inside my IOIO is corrupted -- or hardware malfunctions/defects on my board After i exit the app and tried it back, it went back to "waiting for underlying connection" or sometimes the "waiting for handshake". Any insight would be great! Thanks in advance. -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ioio-users" group.
