Hi group! I've been using the IOIO for some time and suddenly it quit working. I was thinking it was my fault in external hardware, so I reverted all changes and went back to just bare IOIO plus phone and HelloIOIO.apk but I cannot get it to work. When I connect the IOIO to the phone, I see the charge LED and ADB debug icon appear, but the Stat LED never even blinks on the IOIO.
I've tried troubleshooting my 5v rail. The voltage looks good there and I have tried external 12v to the VIN pins with no change. On this subject, on the IOIO OTG at Seeed, I noticed there is a warning about running long power wires with >10v, what is this about? This problem for me happened after moving to a long 12v power supply line, could that be related? I thought I was having a silly SDK issue, so I went all the way back to the APP-IOIO010.zip bundle, installed that HelloIOIO.apk, still to no avail. I've tried this on multiple phones with no joy. I've also tried using a newer Application Image with IOIO Manager, with no luck. It was also suggested to a user to check the logcat output for IOIO messages. For me there are no messages between the HelloIOIO app startup and shutdown. D/SocketIOIOConnection( 736): Waiting for TCP connection D/SocketIOIOConnection( 736): Client initiated disconnect Is it broken? Does the debug icon give me any hope?
