I need to control an Stepper motor <http://www.pololu.com/product/1200>with the IOIO-OTG and the DRV8834 breakout board<http://www.pololu.com/product/2134>. However, I want to check with this group that I'm connecting it correctly to the IOIO. Ytai once mentioned that for his ShoeBot project, he connected the IOIO Vin to the driver <http://www.pololu.com/product/1182>Vmot pin to supply power to the motor. That said, I have a 7.4V Lipo Battery<http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-50c-5000-2s1p-hardcase-2222-direct.html>(5000mAh) to supply power to the IOIO and here is how I think the pins should be connected.
*IOIO Pin DRV8834 Pin* Vin ------> Vmot GND ------> GND P3 ------> STEP P23 ------> DIR 5V ------> FAULT GND ------> GND I'm not sure if the last 2 are required since according to Pololu<http://www.pololu.com/product/2134>, "the DRV8834 does not require a logic supply". DRV8834 pins A2 ,A1, B2, and B1 connect to the motor, but I don't know if I need to use M0 and M1 though. Any comment or correction will be appreciated! <https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-GtoNxXI9YPA/Uz5M5bpSEPI/AAAAAAAABOo/nEj1ZUsNIh0/s1600/DRV8834.png> -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ioio-users" group.
