Hi, I'd like to use an old phone (Huawei Sonic) as a house alarm. The phone would ring me whenever it detects movement in the apartment. I was thinking about using a PIR + IOIO + phone to do it. Some questions:
1) will the IOIO work with my phone? Or is OTG functionality needed on the phone? 2) can I use something even simpler (teensy) to do it? 3) can I use standard rechargeable AA batteries (+ maybe a voltage regulator) on the IOIO?
