There has been no change effecting this as far as I know. Disabling ADB is
only required for AOA to work. Seems like you have a different problem.
Bluetooth + debugging over ADB should work fine.
BTW, IOIOBridge <https://github.com/ytai/ioio/wiki/IOIO-Bridge> is another
alternative to debugging an app while using the IOIO.
