thanks for your feedback and kind words! As Ytai said, the easiest way is
to just go ahead and upgrade your firmware, it's really not a lot of work.
I would be happy to hear about your results, especially as I could not test
the app via bluetooth yet.

@Ytai: Is there anything I can do to expand support for older firmware
versions (I am currently using IOIOLib from version 4.0 in the app)?
