Hello Ytai,

haven't done much with the Android development environment, I'm not sure
how to get this "logcat output". I know that this is not the right thread
for it. Sorry Johannes for hijacking.
I assume I connect my Android device ( Nexus 7 running 4.2.1 ) to a PC via
USB cable, connect IOIO OTG via bluetooth and start the app on the Android
device.
I have used the adb once in the past, so I should get it running again. And
there I can see the logcat, right ?
I'll look into the firmware update procedure later.

Thanks and best regards
Schnee
