Thanks for the advice. Looking into this further I see that the Mint is a 
V1 board, I'm thinking it might be a little risky to try to get V5 firmware 
running on it and maybe not worth the trouble. I think my best bet is to 
use the Mint as-is for now with the downrev firmware, it is convenient for 
breadboarding on the bench. I'll just buy another IOIO OTG to mount more 
permanently on my projects, they are not very expensive. At some point I 
suppose I could swap out the old-style IOIO board in the Mint with a OTG.
