So I’ve been chasing some weird disconnect problems that happen randomly with my IOIO and by trial/error, I’m noticing that application 5.05+ seems more unstable then previous releases in my case at least…
It should be the opposite as in the release notes, it says « Improved ability of OpenAccessory-based connections to reconnect after dropping. » but in my case, with 5.05+, I get some random disconnects and one thing I can replicate 100% is that when my main activity is paused because I open a preference activity for example, it causes a disconnect from an InterruptedException (normal) but when I resume the main activity, it will not reconnect. I have to kill the app and disconnect/reconnect the usb cable to make it work again. This behavior doesn’t happen (IOIO reconnects perfectly when the main activity is resumed) in ADB mode with 5.05+ and it doesn’t happen with 5.04 in both ADB/Open Accessory. I can replicate this on my 3 devices (running various versions of Android 4). Am I missing something? -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "ioio-users" group.
