I tested ion3 with Truetype support and i can state what Tuomo says all the time - it looks like crap! Totally shit from hell!
Not only fonts are blurred i noticed severe damages in most themes i tested. Absolutely unusable with Truetype. And if Tuomo chooses the words crap and shit when he speaks about Truetype, then it is his very own right to do so, because without his efforts you all were not here on a ion3 mailing list. Ion3 is a minimalist windowmanager that aims to be fast. If you need Truetype, Wallpapers, Karamba and Co. stay with kde! If you want a fast Truetype effect for ion, so turn the H, and V, -Moiree value of your display to 100% and you get the same shit without to contaminate ion3 code. Heiko
