Well, I'm happy enough with things as they are, and I don't use detach.lua. My only concern really is how different the new setup would be. The way that I use Ion is that I have a set workspace layout, with named workspaces+frames where given programs start up when I start the window manager (mostly xterms, but with firefox in one particular workspace), and that I want to keep that layout, and use it every time. So I guess one feature request would be to be able to save a default layout and return to it, even if the layout might have changed when one exited (because sometimes I might hit the wrong key and delete a frame, and then I've lost the frame-name and so my start-up-this-program-in-this-frame thing gets messed up) Yes, I know one can save a copy of the layout, and copy it back over if things had changed, but it would be nice if there was a built-in way of doing that.
