I've been considering making <http://iki.fi/tuomov/ion/scripts/> a darcs
<http://abridgegame.org/darcs/> repository as a poor man's substitute for
a wiki that supports file uploads, but the few responses I have got have 
been mixed. Some think it is a good idea and others think almost nobody
would bother to use it. Of version control systems, darcs is ideal for
this given its support for email "pushes" and no need to do any setup at
all for distributed operation. While more complicated than a wiki with
file uploads, such a setup does have at least have one advantage over a
wiki: it could easily be made into an installable package.

Well, I'd still have to get darcs installed on one of the computers I
receive mail on and the web page is located on.
