Nexuiz is one of the "enginemods" (much like Alien Arena or others ) that spawned from the Quake engine. It use the Quake1 based heavily modified DarkPlaces engines.
It seems that Vermeulen has sell the rights to Nexuiz to a company that will make a Nexuiz game for Playstation 3.
