Thanks for answering my question reguarding CREATE and DELETE.

In all of my use cases it makes since that I CREATE the resource at the
start of the service and don’t DELETE the resource because it represents a
physical resource that is not going away.

Suppose we deploy a device with lots of sensors and actuators. Later we
start getting complaints that one of the actuators has gone berzerk and
started shaving any pet ferrets in the vicinity. We don't want to shut down
the device because it does other useful stuff. And we don't have a fix yet,
so in the meantime we need a kill switch for that resource.

This still leaves me wondering if there is an example that shows a
reasonable use case for CREATE and DELETE.
