Hey, I run "iperf -s" on the samba server and "iperf -c IP-ADDRESS -t 60" on another machine (linux or windows, tried both) while I simultaneously copy the files to a machine in the network using the windows file-explorer.
Only when iperf is running (with either protocols, TCP or UDP) the copying process gets way faster (from around 100 Kbit/s to 100 Mbit/s). It is indeed a very interesting effect, and i cant explain where it comes from. Thank you for any tip or idea.
