Just to be clear, he ripped a CD using iTunes.  The album plays fine in iTunes. 
 When syncing, *SOME* of the tunes from the album get copied to the iPad, 
others do not.  
Wouldn't ALL the tunes on that CD be in the same file format when iTunes ripped 
it? If so, why would SOME tunes from that very CD (album) get sync'd and others 
not?
