I am experiencing an odd behavior in iOS 6, just having upgraded yesterday.
My main email account allows me to send "from" several different addresses (personal, business, etc.) in iOS 5 (and before) I had each of the addresses from which I sent mail listed in the "email" field of the IMAP account. This worked fine, and it chose the first one listed as the default, which is also correct behavior (or at least suited my needs). It's worth noting, maybe , that I also have a second account (iCloud) set up, but I had my IMAP account set as the default. When I set this up, I initially set the account up with only the one email address I wanted as the default, then after successful setup, listed the others in the email field, as a comma-separated list. I set up the account the same way after the upgrade to iOS 6 (there were some email issues, so I deleted all my accounts and re-added them). When I had just the one email address listed, it worked as expected. But when I added the others, it seems to have chosen one of the other addresses at random (possibly alphabetically?) as the default. This is clearly NOT the behavior I want. Does any one else do this? Can anyone suggest how to make it work as before? I would appreciate any help, advice or direction!
