I have an iPhone 4 and 2 iPad minis that were running iOS 7 beta 6. I had not
yet updated to the release because, unlike earlier beta releases, there were no
OTA updates from beta6 to GM/release iOS 7 and I have been busy and have not
had a chance to figure out what I need to do to make this work.

Last night, the iPhone 4 (which is SIMless) said I had to activate my phone and
won't let me do it unless I insert a SIM. Well, ok, I can worry about this
later. I have a few other devices I can use to test my apps until I can find
my SIM adapters and can spend a few minutes of time worrying about this.
Whatever, though I find it strange that I have to re-activate a phone that has
been activated for weeks.

Then, this morning I went to use one of the iPad mini devices I have that also
had beta6 iOS7 on it and it says I have to re-activate. Ok, I start and it
says I have to log in to the iCloud account used with this iPad. OK, I go to
log in and it just flashes the screen and asks me the same thing about iCloud
username and password. I go through this a few times and it says it cannot
reach the activation-servers and to try again in a few minutes. This has been
going on for about 5 hours today and I see no news reports about activation
server issues at Apple this morning. I know the password is correct since if I
mistype the password it tells me that the username or password is incorrect.
When I type the password correctly it just flashes and leaves me at the same
screen.

Any idea of what is going on?
