Well, the iPhone certainly supports streaming audio (as evidenced by SeeqPod, www.seeqpod.com).
Automatic progression through a playlist, however, is not something I've seen in action. It would seem that if Safari supported an event like onMediaComplete when QuickTime reached the end of a song/video, that could be trapped and then the next song/video played. I've not heard if such an event exists. Anyone else have an idea? For instance, an m3u playlist will play music over the web on many devices. RSS feeds are used for audio playlist for other devices (such as a PSP). I have tried the m3u and no dice. I was unable to try the RSS feed because it requires an active internet connection (to use the mac reader) which I did not have. Does anyone know if a web-based audio playlist is supported by the iPhone? --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
