I'va been playing around with maps links on my iPhone.
When I do a link like http://maps.google.com/maps?q=stockholm that
works and the iPhone opens the Maps App. A link like maps: stockholm
works as well.

My problem is with kml files. I can enter http://www.example.com/file.kml
in the Maps App and it overlays the kml file but I cannot link to a
kml file from Safari. If I do a link like:
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=http://www.example.com/file.kml
then Safari just open Google Maps in Safari.
If I do a link like:
maps: http://www.example.com/file.kml
then in good scenarios the Maps App just loads with no data and in bad
scenarios it crashes.

Anyone got a clue on how to load a kml file in Maps App with a link
from inside Safari on the iPhone?
