I like to look at both sides of the story.

I think I can see where you're going with this.

Very insightful point.

Most usually because they are necessary part of travelling along a
highway, etc.

Not to mention the multitude of solutions that were discarded for
various reasons.

universally? everyone? stick to the facts. I'm talking to the ibiza
guy about iUI.

> Frameworks are made to allow people to focus on the resulting

and people tend to live within the framework that they chose. and
people are frequently choosing the wrong framework because there is a
lack of intelligent discussion about the pros and cons of the
available solutions.

> Geek out as much as you want, but don't expect everyone to want the

I thought that you made a point there, but I was wrong. my suggestion
is to be less of a geek by reverting to what the masses use (HTML and
Javascript) rather than some niche framework. in the longer term, it
makes more sense and provides more options and control, unless you
don't know what you're doing, in which case, go grab a book and learn
about what you are doing. come on, you are writing pages of markup and
scripting that are interpreted by a web browser. you've done it
before, you don't need to put a sub-standard framework in-between you
and getting the job done.

> That would be using your brain.

meh... I don't want to attempt to pull off some prolific closing
remark and have it come off sounding trite.
