I think I enjoyed watching Abigail on comp.lang.perl.misc too much back in the day. it also taught me that you don't ask questions lightly unless you prepared to accept any answer that comes your way. you asked for suggestions, and I think that is what you got.
this group is about iPhone Web Development, not iUI. if you ask an iUI- related question, you should consider yourself lucky if someone takes time out of their day to provide you with an iUI-specific response. however, if someone takes less time and says "iUI bad - use your brain", why can't you take that as meaning "avoid iUI - keep looking or write your own" - don't label it as unconstructive because it is truly the opposite. I liked the look of iUI when I first saw it, a little hacky but it opened the doors for a lot of people in a very short period of time.
