Regards, We have a Supermicro X7DBE motherboard as well as an Intel S5000PSL motherboard. Both use the same chipset (Intel Blackford).
When I query the BMC using the ipmitool-1.8.9, the Supermicro mother board does not show memory sensors but the Intel board does. I am trying to understand the technical reason for this. Is access to memory and processor sensors not a direct function of the Chipset? Is the Supermicro lacking something in its motherboard that is preventing ipmitool to access memory sensors? Thanks, Sanjay __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
