Hi Mark, Are you sure you have BMCs in all your systems? Based on your system message log, it appears that you may not (except maybe in that one AMD box :-). Do all your systems show IPMI devices with dmidecode?
The ipmi device driver and ipmitool are two separate things so installing a new ipmitool version should not affect the driver's success or failure to find a BMC on your system.
