Hi All, IPMItool returns 'Error reading sensor' when performing sensor list command for the BIOS sensor
Description Performing the following command returns errors halfway through the output of the sensor list. "ipmitool -I lanplus -H -U root -P calvin sensor list" Half way thru the output there will be a string of errors. "Error reading sensor ECC Corr Err (#01), Error reading sensor ECC Uncorr Err (#02), Error reading sensor I/O Channel Chk (#03)" This error message only appears with the Lanplus interface and not with the lan nor with the local IPMITool. Local Ipmptool and ipmitool on lan interface simply disaply "not readable". Similarly ipmitool lanplus should also display. Snapshot is attached. Root cause IPMITOOL is sending Get Sensor Reading for BIOS Sensors, where Sensor Owner is 0xB1. IPMITOOL should not send Get Sensor Reading for these sensors.
