RFC 793 states in section 3.1 that: "The checksum also covers a 96 bit pseudo header conceptually prefixed to the TCP header. This pseudo header contains the Source Address, the Destination Address, the Protocol, and TCP length."
How are people calculating the checksums on IPv6/TCP packets in current implementations? I assume that it is being done uniformly since people seem to interoperate, but for the life of me I can't seem to find it written down in any RFC. Can someone please point me to the appropriate reference?
