Yet you are in fact the one insisting on limiting that diversity. There is a clear flag for the apps you seem to be focused on (ie: not equal FE80 or FEC0 or FC00), but you want to preclude anyone else from being able to use those for different kinds of apps. Instead of preventing all apps from using them, it makes more sense to put a heath warning that any apps that pass around addresses to third parties should not use these. Anything beyond that is precluding diversity.
