When I did the update I ensured that everyone was logged out & IMServer was closed. Performed the upgrade of the IM Server. Rebooted the server. Started the IM Server and hit the Force Update button.
Less then 3 minutes I received a lot of calls from around the United States. "Hey I tried to install the new version of the client and it blue-screened my computer. What the xxx are you guys doing? (win xp)". "Hey.. it stops downloading at about 90% and hangs my computer (w2k)". So.. be forever warned.. I would hate to see anyone have to endure the added stress.
