Thanks for the info, but shouldn't specific recommendations be made in private replies rather than to the entire forum?  I don't know the ettiquette here, but it is their forum, you know.

We held off on the suite (for a major news paper publisher in CA) because it
did not have an apple IM client. I suggested to IPSwitch that they write
one in Java so it supports all platforms, but it was dismissed as not having
enough of a user base. I'm now looking for other options on IM software
that supports mac, if anyone can offer any suggestions.

neither one has really been much help
when it comes to IM.
there are some serious design issues with this piece of software and I would
urge anyone thinking about using this program to seek an alternative.

imho, the support leaves much to be desired as well.
On the plus side, for the amount of time we ran imail
before we moved to exchange server we were very happy with it.
