This is the only thing I recall seeing from Cisco (Blog Entry) – also took a quick look through Cisco Live 365 site and didn’t see anything… http://blogs.cisco.com/getyourbuildon/moving-networks-to-ipv6-mpls-bye-bye-ipv4-mpls/

None of the major vendors (that I’m aware of) support LDPv6 or VPNv4 with IPv6 next hops ... Of course I hope someone will jump in and correct me ;) Best, Ivan From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jim Trotz Sent: Friday, April 12, 2013 12:20 PM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: IPV6 in the network core and MPLS I have been trying to find out if we can use MPLS & LDP to setup MPLS VPNS within our all IPV6 network. Everything I read says no, LDP & MPLS don't support native IPV6, you have to use 6VPE and IPV4 in the core. Is this true? PS: We are an all Cisco IOS/NXOS based network.
