Hi Walt,

My Palstar tuner worked well until the lighting strike at Grayland.  I used it 
about a year before Grayland visit and no problems.  I was probably lucky that 
the Palstar took the electrical surge and not the JRC.  Next time I will take 
the Zap trapper with me to Grayland.  The strike woke my wife and I up at 6:00 
am,  sleeping because conditions were not good that morning.  The Palstar R-30 
CC here works very well, but I have also heard about quality problems at 
Palstar.  The tuner matches the other radios and gives me something to fiddle 
with when bored.
