It's not a matter of who to believe.  I'm not out to spoil anybody's 
fun, but I thought it was worth pointing that the sources I consulted 
indicate that XECCC and its format no longer exist.  If that is the 
case, then hearing it now would indeed be crazy. :-)

BTW, Bill Harms and I were both hearing a station on 1440 tonight that 
sounds very much like the one described by Rob - Mexican music, many 
mentions of Mexico, etc - and, of course, no IDs.  Could be the 
mystery station - judging from the signal strength, I suspect it's 
somebody in the northeast or mid-west running brokered programming.

This just in: the Spanish language programming seemed to end abruptly 
just before 2200, and I heard a WFNY ID right after it ended.  Their 
format is listed as "variety", so they could be a possibility.  Maybe 
Scott F knows more...

Since some people here seem to be taking offence at my comments, I'll 
drop the matter and find something more productive to do.
