Here at least 999 was definitely Russian, so presumably Moldova. 1017
was quite good for several minutes, and definitely not in German, so
likely Turkey. 1062 was interesting as I had a station interval signal
there with apparent 0345 sign on. That's not going to be my "regular"
Denmark, so perhaps also Turkey? Wow, right now 1017 is even in
strength with 1020, and definitely sounding Turkish.. As you say, the
best night of the TA season thus far!

So.
Flipped over to the MW -- on the Eton E1 (whip only...)
And geepers... 1215 in "near audio" - same for 1017 -
thought I was sure I heard snippets of middle eastern music...
Good carriers on 756, 1215, 1143 and a few others...
Going back!
Colin is right. Plenty of activity. I'm at the top of the band and have a
strong carrier on 1548 (? which I wonder if it was Kuwait....gone now, so goes
with that location). I'd say most, if not every 9 kHz channel has a het, but
most are far too weak for any chance of audio. 1215 had weak audio about 02:45
which is a good early sign with music (not the Virgin type either). Definitely
worth watching. 1377, 1026, 1017, 999 (probably the strongest of the lot so
far), 819 (also audio) ....man there are so many I can't keep track....right
down to 531. Easily the best night for TAs this season so far.......Walt.
