Thanks Neil for the info on 1062. Hadn't run across that IS before, as
Denmark doesn't qualify as "easy and common" around here! Certainly a
very interesting night last night, and with the signal on 999 I'm sure
you would have had a good shot at it. Interesting that I had Moldova
with no QRM, then about an hour later Spain with no QRM.

Wow..great TA stuff you guys were getting. I missed it as I got back
from Denver a bit too late. I have a northerly BOG setup here and will
try that around 0300 for Moldova if TA cx are good. Hopefully the
stock market calms down and I can take Friday off and go DX TA's in WI
for a couple days. This is a great time of the year for this (early
Oct)helped since domestics reduce power rather early in the evening.
Re: 1062. Denmark has a pre-s/on IS starting a bit prior to 0345
s/on. This is so easy and common here in any decent TA cx that I
rarely mention it.

Here at least 999 was definitely Russian, so presumably Moldova. 1017
was quite good for several minutes, and definitely not in German, so
likely Turkey. 1062 was interesting as I had a station interval signal
there with apparent 0345 sign on. That's not going to be my "regular"
Denmark, so perhaps also Turkey? Wow, right now 1017 is even in
strength with 1020, and definitely sounding Turkish.. As you say, the
best night of the TA season thus far!
