WSYW did not sign on at 0500, this morning. Sorry Rick! In fact they
did not sign on at 0600, either. Look what I started! Maybe the
engineer didn't know about the PSRA, or maybe the owner was thinking
about the electric bill for the extra 90 or so minutes, hey it is a
mighty 250 watts, now.... :)

Dave

He was only speculating that they might be s/off early. The early s/on
was the issue. That being said, I bet the listeners on 810 (250 watt
day) could be counted on hands and feet. :)

Tells you something about their audience size if they don't even know if
they are signing off an hour early.

Sure - However, I reported that on 5 November, also. :) Be advised, if
there engineering is contracted out, it may not be tomorrow before it
gets
fixed. I'd check tomorrow at 0500 just in case (and hope WGY is off).
:)

Next time, give us a few days to pick it up before you contact people to
straighten it out. :)

As I noted about three weeks ago, WSYW 810, a 250 watt DAYTIMER (w/PSRA)
is
still signing on what I understand to be an hour too early. They are
signing on at 0500 EST. I don't want to be labeled as a troublemaker,
but I
did get the courage up to call the station. Got the GM's voicemail and
left
a message. Don't know if he'll call back or fix the problem but I did
what
I should have, as far as I'm concerned.

Just to be sure, a PSRA station must sign on at 0600 or after but not at
0500, right?

I once again checked the AM Query and do not see any apps for an
unlimited
operation.
