As Richard said, an unusual morning. A quick check at 1200 showed
nothing but DU carriers, with traces of audio from presumed 4BC on 1116.
At 1300 it was much the same, with 612 and 792 being very close to
audio but not quite making it. Still not a trace of a TP. Then about
1325 TP-based carriers suddenly seemed to take over. Weak audio noted
on 774 and 828. Pretty sure it was Japan, though too weak to claim 100%
certainty. There was no uncertainty about VOA on 1575 though as it came
up to a fair level, approaching good at times, with the 1330 ID easily
making it. This window only lasted about 10 minutes though, then the
TPs faded back into weakish carriers.
