Hi All,

There is at least one Japanese DXer who is extremely thankful for NHK2's early
sign off time. With 693-JOAB off the air, Satoshi Miyauchi was able to receive
693-Bangladesh on a 7.5" loopstick CC Skywave Ultralight next to a window
inside his house-- something that he apparently hasn't been able to accomplish
with any portable for over 20 years. Maybe not as impressive as Chuck and
Bruce's reception of the same station at Grayland in 2009, but it does seem to
have made his day!

<<<    PS
It's only a piece of night time that I can tune in radio on weekdays, it's
rather later time of the day, just after your local dawn like UTC14:00, and
last night I was very excited to catch Bangladesh on 693 past 16:00 UTC, with
your  7.5" loopstick CC Skywave radio, surprisingly at home / window side!  I
think this  must be after more than 20 or nearly 30 years since I could catch
them on portable radio at home!  FYI, that time, I have been (and still own
some) using those "classic radios" with own made air loop antenna.
