Awesome ULR catches...Yes, the Tecsun is good for travel if DXing AM. FM isn't 
bad either, and if it had RDS display I'd use it year-round for travel.I use a 
Sangean ATS909 for FM travel; it's small enough for easy packingNot yet sure 
which I'll take when we travel to Calgary-Banff for a couple weeks this summer, 
as FM Es will be in season but I'll also be curious about AM out there.
