Based on Guy’s EZNEC modeling I’ve decided to get a FLG100LN-2 instead of the
ALA100LN. I already have a flag constructed, and it’s mounted alongside my
wooden privacy fence to favor the Western US. Since “K” calls from the West are
my primary interest, it makes sense to keep a uni-directional antenna, instead
of converting it to bi-directional—especially since it seems it would be easy
to make it bi-directional should the need arise in the future.

Can’t wait to try it.
