I have already upgraded to Pro and everything is working great so far. I am really enjoying Jaguar so far, the convenience of all various features for working through recordings is awesome. I have not found the learning curve that steep what with the nice manual. It is more simply remembering how to quickly get to various features and that will come from a cheat-sheet and repetition.
