By the way - I hope it's okay - the site has a banner which uses the
first logo idea. I know we haven't called a formal vote, but we do have
about 4 votes for it, so it looks like it would be the clear winner.
I did though unilaterally decide on a font for "Apache Isis", which was
presumptious of me. Just pointing out that I know it was, if anyone
objects to the font I've chosen then very happy to do so.
