Haven't had a chance to look at these resources; i'm sure they're good. About the logo I did which most of us had expressed a preference for ... My ideas there were: (a) something with an Egyptian feel in terms of the colours; (b) reminiscent of wings (Isis the goddess has wings); (c) something quite simple (Isis is the goddess of simplicity); and (d) something that will scale down to a small size but still be recognisable. I think these are a good set of ideas (though others may be equally valid).
Whatever we decide probably does need working up by a proper graphics artist; the logo I did k knocked up in PowerPoint and then exported as a png; we would probably want a proper svg.
