Guan Eng : Barisan has advantage in polls 15 January 2012 ALOR STAR: DAP secretary-general Lim Guan Eng yesterday admitted that Barisan Nasional has the advantage to win in the next general election. He said this in front of some 2,000 delegates during his winding-up speech at Pakatan Rakyat's third national convention here. Lim, who is also Penang Chief Minister, said Parti Keadilan Rakyat de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's acquittal from his much publicised sodomy charge was not a guarantee that the opposition could easily win. "Although Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has been acquitted and discharged of his sodomy charge, this is not a guarantee that we can win in the election. "BN still has the advantage," Lim said.
