I'm one of overseas buyers...

In my country custom duties on imported network equipment are higher
than Everest...
Thus to do this business I'm forsed to use some invoice tricks (many of
you know what I mean)...

Well, here is a usual scheme of my dealings with many of US seller (but
not with you Albert - you did everything you promised - Thanks a lot!):

I ask: "could you write that and that in invoice?"
Sales manager answers: "Shure, I'll do that"
I say: "OK, thanks!"

After that I receive the box with wrong invoice... Then I spend a bunch
of money, time and nerves to scratch the box out of custom.. I don't
want to describe how I do this...

Then I say to US seller: "Why you didn't do what you promised?"
Sales manager anwers: "Oops, sorry, my stock guy forgot to do that!"
Well, it's a great consolation for me...

Actually I'm a lucky overseas buyer, cause I'm able to save boxes with
wrong invoices... But for many other overseas buyers the only way to
avoid big losses - to refuse to receive the box at all... It's sad but
it's true... :-(

US sellers!
Please ship the boxes overseas exactly as you agreed with your buyer...
Then both US sellers and overseas buyers will earn money to food their
families...
