Subject: Re: ISPAK: Illustration of
Royalty computation
Dear Bhutta Sb AoA,
The word may and wish are quite deep in nature ,
what about if PTA does not agree with our wish and takes penalty action
despite of the fact we have paid Royalty as per our wishes ?
PTA has not issues any circular yet and at the
moment its previous order / notice stands valid and there is not deduction
allowed in that notice . So what is the status of your or our wishes
?
Royalty is illegal so either we pay 1.5 % or even
less , it stands illegal . Unfortunately we are not taking the advantage of
such a conducive enjoinment and Minister . Who has great wishes to promote I.T
and Internet industry , though I can see his is also helpless in many regards
due to typical problems of this country like in-competent officials and
persons around him (Most of them ).
Still Minister Sb offered ISPAK and very healthy and positive offer " Seeking
a legal opinion from some reputed firm / lawyer . Unfortunately ISPAK failed
to get any benefit from that offer due to lack of information , knowledge and
proper home work. We should have consulted a lawyer of excellent repute long
ago. Funds was not a problem at all . There are so many big players in the
industry and ofcourse a few are "Jehadi " .
Any way now we have taken this issue in a proper way and I hope by the help of
Allah and all other friends we will succeed in out objectives .
Your past correspondence in which you have Cleary
called Royalty illegal has been a great help for us in preparing this case . I
personally thank Mr.Ahmad Nadeem Syed , his efforts and great work done
against the Royalty also helped us a lot . We started the case from where
ISPAK left it .
Wish you all the best .
Regards
Saad Saleem
