Hi John LTNS ! I realise this is a vendors list and I will be gentle. I personally wouldn't advocate using Guard without a firewall, firewalls still have a role to play and an IPS such as Guard complement the potential weaknesses within a firewall very well. The sum of the combined parts far outweighs the individual components
I confess I haven't used Guard for a few years, since it was still in diapers, but even then it was pretty cool.
