On the application server, run the ODBC admin (odbcad32.exe) tool and test the connectivity to the RealSecureDB.  There should be an entry in the System DSN tab called SiteProtectorAppServer, click the configure and make sure the user name that the app server is using to connect to the database is 'sa'.  Type in the password in the field, and click next.  Then test the connectivity.

Subject: [ISSForum] Problem with Database installation

Dear Sir

I have problems with installation of the my Site Protector Database. When I put the credencials of the SQL Server I receive an autentication error.(log attach).

1- The password of "sa" user is correct !
2- There is connectivity !
3- They are in a same subnet !

What can be wrong ?
