Site Protector does not have the ability to push agents to an IP range - this was only
available within Icecap.
You can deploy the agents via a website or simply create the agent builds, ie an
executable file as per Icecap.

You could push your agents out via Icecap 3.5 and then run the migration utility to
transfer the policies to SP and then have the new management console.

Subject: [ISSForum] Desktop Protector

Question here,

Can the Site Protector be used for remote deployments of Desktop Protector
?.
>From what I read here, it say ICEcap mgr only...

Correct me if I am wrong, but, there is such a thing as Desktop Controller
module in the Site protector. It is also called the ICEcap manager in Site
protector. I assume this is the one but...

ICEcap has a price on it... and Desktop Controller is FOC... any other
things I need to get/buy to be able to this ?

Comments...

Cheers
GaneshC
