Kevin, I had the same issue but here's how you solve it. Go to download
as usual but instead of using the X-Press Update tab, click the Service
Pack tab. On top of the service pack tab is a drop down that has all
the XPU and you select the one that you want to down load and save the
file. Once it's in the directory you can proceed with updating your
XPU's.

Thanks, I believe I have it figured out except I'm running into a
problem
attempting to update my Database Service packs. For some reason I
cannot
locate SP 5.19 for the database. Filename: DB_SP_5_21_20051219.xpu
Anyone know why this one isn't available for download??

After the upgrade to SiteProtector Core Service Pack 6, I had to open
https://xpu.iss.net <https://xpu.iss.net> (209.134.161.53) in the
firewall
to get the catalog. I think the updates themselves still come from
https://www.iss.net <https://www.iss.net> .

Subject: [ISSForum] New install

Hello all, I am presently going through a new install of SiteProtector.
I
am learning everything on the fly having worked with RealSecure for
awhile,
this implementation hasn't been too terrible but I have a couple of
problems

that some might be able to shed light on rather quickly. Sorry if they
are
noob questions.

1. My X-press Update Server doesnt seem to be working, I have it tied
to
an Agent Manager and have it pointed to www.iss.net:443
<http://www.iss.net:443 <http://www.iss.net:443> > server but the
updates
don't seem to work. The
catalog doesnt seem to be updating. Are there some firewall ports that
need
to be opened outbound besides port 443??

2. I am installing 4 sensors. 3 of them do seem to get the updates
that I
have but 1 just doesnt want to take updates. I log into the sensor and
see
the xpu it's trying to download but it has a byte count of 0. What
would
cause the sensor not to receive the update properly??

So far these are the only 2 issues I've run into. Probably a simple fix
but

if anyone could shed some light, I'd appreciate it!
